Events


Regular Weekly Activities:

  • Tuesday Morning: Quilters meet at 9 a.m., others are welcome to join for coffee & treats at 10:00.
  • Thursday Evenings: Choir Practice at 7:30 p.m. New singers always welcome!
  • Other community groups are encouraged to book space at St. Andrews - we regularly host meetings of the Bayfield Mews Board, The Trail Association, Pioneer Park, and The Glee Sisters Choir who rehearse Friday afternoons. Please contact the office to book space. 519-565-2854

Coffee Hour: The first Sunday of the month in the downstairs hall following worship. All are invited!

Church Groups:

  • United Church Women: meet regularly and support various local outreach projects such as the ‘Healthy Babies’ initiative and annual fundraisers such as the Holly Berry Bazaar during Christmas in Bayfield (2nd weekend in November)
  • The 3 M's: (Mr. Mrs. & Ms. Group) A group that meets for various social activities, learning opportunities and events throughout the year, ranging from fall colour tours, to "Hanging of the Greens" at Christmas time, and a New Year’s Eve party. Something for everyone, and everyone welcome!

Outreach Projects:

  • Canada Foodgrains Bank is regularly supported by our congregation through financial contributions and fundraisers
  • The United Church Mission & Service Fund is supported through regular weekly donations and its 'Gifts with Vision' catalogue
  • Bayfield Mews Lifestyles Community originated as a church initiative and is now a thriving development of independent townhomes in the south end of Bayfield www.bayfieldmews.ca
  • Marketplace Ministry - we care what you think, and invite you to express your opinion on our blackboard at the Bayfield Farmers Market each Friday afternoon during the summer months. A different question each week engages the community in conversation.

Annual Events:

  • UCW Maypole Luncheon welcomes the spring with colourful salads, cold meal & pastel iced angel cake
  • Annual Yard Sale & BBQ at the church each June
  • July 1st Canada Day BBQ at the Bayfield Community Centre - going strong for 50 years - always a crowd and always delicious!
  • Holly Berry Bazaar and Lunch Room during 'Christmas in Bayfield' 2nd weekend in November
  • Christmas Candlelight Service featuring our own choir plus guest musicians, the second Sunday in December, at 7:30 pm. Free will offering
